gVIP brings together a small group of women doctoral students to engage with state-of-the-art research and training aiming to increase voice and influence during their studies at Stanford and, more importantly, during their careers following Stanford.

gVIP also allows women graduate students from all schools at Stanford the opportunity to develop supportive relationships with each other. gVIP is designed and run by the Clayman Institute for Gender Research in collaboration with the Vice Provost for Graduate Education. Sessions are led by faculty and other experts on the topics of persuasion and influence, negotiation, team dynamics, and leadership.
