Natalie T. Burkhard

I am currently a Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. candidate in the Biomimetics and Dexterous Manipulation Laboratory at Stanford University set to graduate December 2018. My research interests include engineering for health, medical robotics and devices, mechatronics, and experiment and product design. My current project is a collaboration with Intuitive Surgical

Originally from Laguna Hills, CA, I went to Dartmouth College to earn my B.A. and B.E. in Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, respectively, in 2012. After spending the summer following graduation in Rwanda building a hydropower site with Dartmouth Humanitarian Engineering, I began my graduate program here at Stanford.

In my free time, I love rock climbing; many weekends are spent in Yosemite! I also enjoy working with my hands, and my projects and hobbies reflect that.
